With A New Home, Archibald Ligonnière releases his very first album as a bandleader. Both intimate and generous, the record marks a decisive step in his journey as a musician: the affirmation of a personal voice after years of collaborating, accompanying, and experimenting. Behind the title lies a story: that of a musician who, after a failed attempt to move to Los Angeles due to the pandemic, felt the need to refocus and build his own place—his creative space. “I needed to build my musical home. A cozy place where I would feel good composing, playing, recording. A New Home is both the studio I built for myself and the inspiration I found thanks to it.”
